Strength & Conditioning combines cardio and resistance work to an energetic beat to work out your whole body.  With a range of exercise techniques that includes aerobics, floor work, weights and resistance training, you’re guaranteed a varied class that will hit those areas that other workouts miss.

POWER PUMP

POWER PUMP is a non-impact strength training class that uses the barbell to target muscle groups. Light weight with high repetitions exhausts the muscles creating lean muscle and a toned physique. Instructors will coach you through moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music - helping your achieve much more than on your own!

TRX SUSPENSION TRAINING

TRX SUSPENSION TRAINING

TRX is a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneaously.  It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to complete the exercises.

Rise & Shine yoga is to explore what the body can do in the morning while gently waking your muscles and breath. Each class will begin with reflection and breath work to find the best mindset. We will then go into a vinyasa flow practice with a focus on the body mechanics and awareness leaving you feeling stronger, more expansive and centered after each class.

In this evening yoga practice, you’ll allow yourself to simply slow down and tune into your body and breath. Through gentle yoga poses and stretches you will unwind physically and mentally to help prepare you for the night’s sleep. Join us for a restorative, and relaxing evening yoga class. All levels welcome.

PILATES MAT

Strengthen the body’s “powerhouse” with Pilates.  Pilates Mat sessions focus on developing core strength, flexibility, balance and stamina.  You will learn to be aware of breathing patterns and spinal alignment while engaging the muscles of the core.  Various props (e.g. flex bands, balls, rings, disks and light weights) are incorporated to enhance and intensify the workout.  Properly learn the fundamentals and sequence of classic Pilates Mat and build a foundation for a lifetime of healthy habits.

HIGH PERFORMANCE

Youth High Performance

Cavalier Fitness Studio is offering a High Performance Training Class to the High Performance Tennis Students at the Village Glen. This program is designed to develop strength, endurance, flexibility, core and over all fitness. Class sessions will focus on refining the skills and performance of the athlete at a high level, and to develop and enhance the physical capability of the athlete.
